Teen Watch

'Parents worry whether they are doing a good job and about what kind of world their children will grow up in'.
National Family and Parenting Institute

What are the three main concerns as a parent about family life today?

  • 21% cited drugs and alcohol first.

  • Children’s behaviour was second.

  • 18% said the risk of your child being attacked first.

There are 169 gangs in London alone, with approximately 5000 members.

Unfortunately the media strikes fear into the hearts of parents whenever it attacks teens with enthusiasm and glee.

Described as binge drinking, knife wielding, hoody wearing maniacs, but are our teenagers out of control? Teenage angst is an unfortunate fact of life, teens want to lead their own lives and they think they know best and are worldly wise.

Unfortunately this is very rarely the case. However for a large majority mistakes are made and rectified, then just put down to “growing up”, but for some it goes to far.
Peer pressure and social attitudes are immense in this day and age luring our children into gangs, crime, drugs and a whole range of illegal and social problems that will change their lives forever….and not for the good.
All teens lie to their parents or guardians, usually to cover for mistakes that they have made or to protect their privacy and freedom, unfortunately they don’t see this as a big deal, but for the few who are eventually involved in the situations previously mentioned this can be far from harmless.

Drug and alcohol abuse is now at its highest, knife and gun crime are in the news on a weekly basis, even if its only for your own peace of mind wouldn’t you like to know if your child is making the right choices?

Teen watch has been developed to assist parents, to place a watch full eye on their child over a period of time when adult or parental intrusion would not be appreciated.
Daily routines, who are they meeting with after school, where are they going at night and what are they doing.

If you have a gut feeling or a suspicion you can't begin to help or guide them unless you know the facts, once you have the knowledge its then up to you as the parent to deal with it as you see fit.

By using sophisticated technology movements, meetings, and any suspected activity can be monitored, covert cameras and audio equipment record information that can give you the peace of mind that you want and the assistance you may need to guide your child on the right track.
